About the role

Technical Program Manager, Engineering Operations at Delinea focusing on program delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and management of vendor lifecycle and developer tooling to keep Engineering running efficiently. Hybrid position in Mexico City.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent software development projects across various Engineering teams.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and ensure alignment on delivery timelines, milestones, and priorities.
  • Collaborate with other TPMs to maintain a unified view of cross-team initiatives and ensure timely execution.
  • Proactively identify and resolve blockers that may impact project delivery, mitigating risks through early detection and strategic problem-solving.
  • Maintain and communicate project status using tools such as burndown charts, dashboards, and progress reports.
  • Ensure stakeholders are informed of key updates, changes, risks, and decisions, serving as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Own the Engineering vendor lifecycle and developer tooling, serving as the primary point of contact between Engineering and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management within software development organizations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional certification in project or program management, such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or SAFe.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
