About the role

BDR role in NYC area to generate leads and build the go-to-market function in a hybrid environment, primarily focused on prospecting, outbound outreach, and collaboration with Account Executives to drive revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact to a wide range of dental practice prospects
  • Utilize email, phone, and other creative channels to reach prospective clients through outbound tactics
  • Track your sales activity using Salesforce and other software tools
  • Overcome objections, pitch the Dandy value proposition, and move prospects forward in the sales process
  • Work seamlessly with senior sales leadership to meet high-level KPIs and revenue targets
  • Partner with Account Executives on client handoffs

Qualifications

  • Recent college graduate with a demonstrated track record of achievement, leadership, competitiveness, or initiative through experiences such as sales or business internships, collegiate athletics, student government, campus leadership, sales competitions, entrepreneurship, or other meaningful extracurricular involvement
  • Interest in launching a career in sales and excitement about developing strong prospecting, cold calling, and objection-handling skills
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and desire to learn new sales concepts via rigorous trainings
  • Ability to punch through ambiguity and ramp up quickly
  • Experience with standard sales tools or a desire to quickly learn and explore new tools to further streamline the sales process
  • Overall track record of professional and academic success
