About the role

Engineer role focused on improving ElevenLabs developer experience by designing, building, and maintaining open source projects, server/client SDKs, MCP server, API design, developer tooling, and acting as customer zero for new developer products.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain open source projects to drive developer adoption (server and client side SDKs, MCP server).
  • Contribute to the developer journey for new and existing products.
  • Design and improve the ElevenLabs API, build developer tooling.
  • Act as "customer zero" for new developer products.
  • Engage in writing engaging technical content (e.g., in-depth blog posts).
  • Triage technical issues and communicate effectively with developers.

Qualifications

  • Experience building and maintaining open source projects; ideally created or maintained SDKs.
  • Strong full-stack engineering skillset with a focus on API design.
  • Passion for writing engaging technical content (e.g., blog posts).
  • Excellent communicator capable of triaging technical issues.
