About the role

Senior Software Engineer to improve performance, scalability, and architecture of Office web applications within Microsoft Copilot/Office web ecosystem, utilizing profiling, telemetry, experimentation, and agentic AI to accelerate development while maintaining quality, security, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Drive performance, scalability, and architectural improvements across Office web applications.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues using telemetry, profiling, and experimentation.
  • Lead complex cross-team engineering initiatives and technical design efforts.
  • Apply agentic AI to accelerate development, testing, debugging, and code modernization.
  • Partner across Microsoft to deliver high-impact customer experiences.
  • Establish engineering practices that improve quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to technical excellence across the organization.
  • Participate in on-call support and drive resolution of production issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python - OR equivalent experience.
