About the role

Lead the next generation Big Data Analytics System within Windows Servicing and Delivery, guiding a high-caliber software engineering team to design and deliver scalable data processing platforms using Azure big data technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Influence and align the product vision by collaborating with partners, product management and engineering teams across geos.
  • Managing a team of high-caliber Software Engineers, ensuring project and development excellence and technical leadership.
  • Create a solid team culture of engineering excellence, customer passion, collaboration, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Design and deliver on the vision of the next generation of the Big Data Analytics System and opportunity to work with the latest cloud services.
  • Building a data processing platform for transforming data into usable and meaningful form to enable our partners while engaging with engineering, data science and data integration teams across Microsoft.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • OR equivalent experience.
