About the role

Senior Software Development Technology Consultant for Microsoft Federal, focusing on designing, developing, and delivering cloud-native software solutions for US government clients, with emphasis on pre-sales collaboration, solution value articulation, security considerations, and IP/offer development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Kubernetes microservices using Node.js / Python / C#
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with Azure services (Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Redis)
  • Build event-driven architectures using message queuing (e.g., Azure Service Bus)
  • Build robust logging and monitoring systems (Application Insights, Log Analytics)
  • Advanced storage patterns for high concurrency transfers
  • Design and develop interfaces using React for a cloud-native web platform
  • Design, implement, and optimize data models/queries in Azure Cosmos DB for large-scale operations
  • Collaborate in pre-sales process to shape deals and draft proposals/SOWs
  • Identify opportunities to expand adoption of cloud/Microsoft technologies and develop new offerings
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure security considerations are prioritized and aligned with solutions
  • Lead and mentor teams, participate in readiness, and ensure compliance with security standards
  • Proactively manage customer relationships, align solutions with architecture, and guide delivery across domains

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business OR equivalent experience
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • Ability to meet Microsoft/security screening requirements
  • US citizenship verification requirements
