About the role

Senior AE for continental Europe responsible for owning a patch across multiple European markets, from initial discovery through pilot, contract, and expansion. Works with Head of Commercial, founders, UK AE, and Pre-sales to close 6-figure, complex enterprise SaaS deals with focus on operational improvements for large retailers/FMCG brands.

Responsibilities

  • Own a patch across continental Europe. Build the relationships, run discovery, scope the pilot, win the contract.
  • Sell into operating teams, not IT (Heads of Supply Chain, Finance Directors, Commercial Operations leads). Discuss P&L and processes, then bring pre-sales in to close.
  • Run discovery on a hypothesis. By the end of every first call there's a working hypothesis on what we'd automate, a cost of doing nothing, and a next meeting in the diary.
  • Co-design pilots with pre-sales. Guaranteed outcome. A path into production.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years selling complex enterprise SaaS into European markets.
  • Experience with six-figure deals and multi-stakeholder cycles measured in months.
  • Ability to build pipeline independently when needed; patch ownership.
  • Commercial discipline (MEDDPICC, mutual action plans, multi-threaded deals).
  • Comfortable conversing with both Supply Chain Directors and CIOs.
  • Honesty about deal viability; prefer killing bad deals early.
  • Fluent English; second European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Polish) a plus.
