About the role
Deeply technical Engineering Manager leading a senior team building a scalable, automated IT product and infrastructure ecosystem for Rippling's Inventory Management IT platform, including global supply chain, warehouse integrations, and asset lifecycle orchestration.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 7 engineers, focusing on execution velocity and technical excellence through AI-driven workflows.
- Own IT automation infrastructure, end-to-end automation, internal product interfaces, and systems architecture for core enterprise IT platform dependencies.
- Modernize operational systems plumbing by restructuring internal engines to automate manual workflows and multi-system communications, building a unified software control plane.
- Stay deeply technical by evaluating system-level trade-offs, architecture decisions, distributed systems design, and core systems plumbing with senior staff.
- Partner cross-functionally with Inventory Management, Identity, Devices, and Product to build integrated internal product landscapes.
