About the role

Principal Product Manager for Work IQ with primary focus on evaluation of the agent developer lifecycle, end-to-end quality gates, and AI-native transformation within Microsoft 365 Copilot ecosystem. Role centers on building continuous evaluation, drift detection, and enterprise-grade developer experience across Work IQ’s surfaces, APIs, and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own the evaluation stage end to end: eval suite, baseline, measurements across quality, accuracy, latency, cost, trust, DLP behavior, source scoping, failure triage, advisory-board quality gate.
  • Make evaluation continuous rather than a milestone; align eval suites with declared success criteria; run A/B testing with BizChat and post-release drift detection.
  • Ensure trust boundary with auditable, human-decisions for gate sign-off and admin consent.
  • Apply an agentic loop approach to evaluation to achieve zero-touch evidence assembly, failure triage, and drift detection with human oversight on irreversible or customer-visible decisions.
  • Dogfood Work IQ surfaces to build loops and translate developer experience into platform investments.
  • Lead with outcomes and publish a point of view to reduce human effort per agent, speed up failure resolution, catch drift before customers see it, and avoid false gate passes.
  • Define and drive product vision and roadmap for Work IQ areas servicing Copilot extensibility.
  • Clarify Work IQ focus vs Copilot Chat, Graph, or agent frameworks; translate scenarios into engineering priorities.
  • Make evaluation a first-class product surface with clear tooling, evidence, and quality signals, determining scope for third-party vs first-party developers.
  • Own the Work IQ focus area contract; ensure APIs are composable, predictable, and production-ready for enterprise workloads.
  • Partner with engineering on versioning, backward compatibility, and preview/GA readiness.
  • Design agentic usage patterns and developer experience across SDKs, CLI, MCP integrations, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with security, privacy, and compliance teams to define safe defaults and guardrails; maintain enterprise trust.
  • Lead cross-team collaboration with Copilot platform, BizChat, Graph, Entra PM, and Agent platforms; establish alignment through specs and exec-ready communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
