About the role

Drives campus-based delivery solutions for Microsoft CO+I, reviews engineering documentation and plans, facilitates metro/campus project delivery, manages procurement and reporting on scope, schedule and budget, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors the approved project budget, provides oversight, and suggests adjustments for project controls.
  • Partners with CO+I and stakeholders to ensure updated processes increase cost savings and efficiency.
  • Attends and advises during owner/architect/contractor meetings, advocating for safe and secure planning.
  • Drives delivery of metro-based/campus projects by making timely data-based decisions with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Oversees procurement activities for resourcing and materials to meet program milestones and budgets.
  • Creates and reports on project progress regarding scope, schedule, standards, and budget.
  • Collaborates with internal teams and GC/Subcontractors to maintain corporate vision and goals.
  • Represents Microsoft as a safety leader on Campus/Metro construction programs and ensures regulatory compliance.
  • Communicates risk mitigation goals and develops metrics/dashboards to track progress.
  • Advises and monitors vendor/contractor performance for contract compliance and audit findings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Additional: 12+ years related experience or 12+ years on data center projects (preferred).
  • Background Check: Microsoft Cloud Background Check required on hire/transfer and every two years.
