About the role

Engineering Manager for Rippling's HR Products with ownership of Employment Products and Global Expansion initiatives. Combines technical leadership, product development, and cross-functional collaboration to build scalable, extensible products for global HR needs.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on product development experience building scalable products end-to-end and delivering projects of varying scale
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders globally (India and worldwide)
  • Set up roadmaps, define milestones, and drive outcomes
  • Lead engineering teams, mentor developers, and provide people leadership
  • Review and guide technical architecture while maintaining hands-on awareness as needed
  • Communicate effectively with distributed teams and stakeholders
  • Owns aspects of Global Expansion and product architecture within Employment Products

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role and 7-8 years as an Individual Contributor
  • Total experience 8–15 years (IC + Managerial)
  • Strong product-building mindset in high-ownership environments
  • Technical foundation with ability to guide and review; hands-on experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills for distributed teams
  • Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders across global regions (India and globally)
