About the role

Patching a Chromium-based browser to support stealth-focused web scraping at scale, involving benchmarking, documentation, and collaboration with browser patching and web scraping engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Patching a Chromium-based browser.
  • Benchmarking & documenting results.
  • Collaborating with browser patching engineers & web scraping engineers to deliver a stealth-focused browser.
  • Understanding fingerprinting signals of major anti-bots and implementing patches accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with C++.
  • Experience with working on browser source code.
  • Network (TLS/SSL) knowledge.
  • Understanding of browser fingerprinting.
  • Knowledge of unblocking websites for scraping.
  • Knowledge of browser automation & scalability.
