About the role

Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) for Cloud + AI Infrastructure focusing on migrating, modernizing, and securing customers' infrastructure, applications, and data on Microsoft Azure; drives architectural design, governance, and delivery to enable production-ready AI solutions and Azure adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding Customer/Partner Technical Environment (Insights about Customer/Partner and Industry): Gather customer/partner insights and map architecture and Digital & AI transformation solutions to business outcomes.
  • Understanding Customer/Partner Technical Environment (Internal Advocacy): Act as the voice of the customer/partner to drive feedback, gaps, blockers, and insights across communities.
  • Architecture Design and Deployment (Architecture Proposals): Synthesize data about requirements and address with technical architectures; demonstrate value through design collaboration sessions.
  • Architecture Design and Deployment (Requirements and Constraints): Apply broad technical knowledge across architectures to meet IT requirements and resolve constraints.
  • Architecture Design and Deployment (Resolving Blockers): Identify, escalate, and resolve blockers to accelerate implementations; route non-technical issues for removal.
  • Trusted Advisor (Challenger Mindset): Respectfully challenge directions and escalate appropriately.
  • Trusted Advisor (Competitor Insights/ Differentiated Value Proposition): Understand competitors and articulate Microsoft strengths to drive conversations.
  • Customer Usage: Lead design, resiliency reviews, and optimization to production deployments and increase customer value.
  • Customer Satisfaction – Deliver positive Customer Satisfaction and become trusted advisors to enable Customer Success Plan outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 12+ years’ experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR equivalent experience
  • 6+ years experience in customer-facing role
  • 6+ years experience on technical projects
  • Business English proficiency; Japanese reading/writing proficiency mandatory (英語のCV提出必須; Native Japanese reading & writing with highest proficiency)
