About the role

Finance Solutions Engineer role at Abacum, an AI-native FP&A platform. Commercially-minded finance professional partnering with Sales to build POCs, translate customer requirements into Abacum models/dashboards, and maintain demo environments to support GTM strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales to design and build POCs that demonstrate value to prospective customers
  • Translate customer requirements into Abacum models and beautiful dashboards
  • Work across industries, quickly ramping on new business models and metrics
  • Own and maintain demo environments, ensuring they are always up-to-date, reliable, and aligned with GTM needs
  • Create new demo assets and use cases to support different segments, industries, and sales motions
  • Bring new product developments into demo environments, translating features into compelling, real-world scenarios
  • Help shape repeatable POC frameworks, demo templates, and playbooks

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years experience in FP&A, Finance, Investment Banking, Consulting, or similar
  • Strong financial modeling skills (Excel / Google Sheets proficiency)
  • Solid understanding of ambiguous problems with a commercial mindset
  • High learning velocity — comfortable picking up new tools (e.g. Abacum) fast
