About the role

Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, testing, deploying and operating backend services for IC3 Messaging Store and data-at-rest encryption SDK, enabling secure, reliable, and scalable Microsoft 365 messaging scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, security, support, and partner teams to determine user requirements and drive project plans, release plans, and well-scoped work items for secure and reliable Microsoft 365 messaging scenarios.
  • Drive the identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for features and services across IC3 messaging.
  • Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve service performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment.
  • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), develop and follow operational playbooks, and participate in the on-call rotation to monitor service health.
  • Proactively learn and apply technical solutions and patterns that improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, security, performance, and operational consistency at scale.
  • Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical coaching, and contribute to improving the team's engineering foundation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
