About the role

Senior Technical Program Manager for the Trusted Technology Group (TTG) within the Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA) team. Centralized operations supporting TTG teams (Privacy, Digital Safety Unit, Enterprise Resilience and Crisis Management, Tech for Society, Accessibility) as they engage regulators worldwide. TTG advances Microsoft’s trust strategy by engaging regulators, customers, and internal groups; develops and maintains internal standards and contributes to governance and compliance functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the vendor team responsible for the triage, routing, assignment, and tracking of regulatory and consumer inquiries received by Microsoft for multiple domains.
  • Monitor incoming volume of regulatory inquiries across multiple domains and ensure efficient triage and routing.
  • Ensure timely assignment of regulatory inquiries to regulatory engagement teams, balancing workload and expertise.
  • Identify appropriate project management for large, high-impact regulatory inquiries from intake through resolution.
  • Develop and execute improvement plans that strengthen end-to-end response quality, speed, and consistency.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency in TTG’s operations, processes, and digital tools, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and other technologies where appropriate.
  • Partner with engineering, support, and other partner teams to identify gaps and inefficiencies surfaced through regulatory engagements.
  • Monitor the health of working relationships with internal stakeholders and partner teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collaboration, communication, and trust across the regulatory engagement ecosystem.
  • Provide subject-matter guidance to the vendor team supporting the Regulatory Inquiries Program and partner functions on regulatory inquiry handling, escalation paths, and best practices.
  • Foster a growth-driven mindset and learning culture in TTG and across CELA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
