About the role

Responsibilities

  • Work on meaningful, real-world projects that contribute to systems used by global customers.
  • Collaborate in a modern tech stack (C++, Java) to build reliable, secure cloud software and services.
  • Engage in hands-on work related to database internals, large-scale distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Contribute to compiler design, query execution, streaming pipelines, and advanced SQL features.

Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university program during the internship (from 3rd year Bachelor up to Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field.
  • Duration: 4 months minimum, 6 months recommended, up to 12 months supported; start date flexible.
  • Target start dates: February 2027 and onward.
  • Foundational knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and operating systems.
  • Programming experience in C++ or Java, familiarity with systems programming concepts (e.g., multi-threading, concurrency).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and solve problems creatively.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
