Solution Engineer (Early in Profession) at Microsoft focusing on cloud, AI, data, analytics, security, and modern application technologies. Responsibilities

  • Build Strategy - Reviews customer interactions and raises competitive information to account teams to contribute to development and landing of compete strategies.
  • Education - Promotes readiness to internal teams and consumes readiness materials to expand domain knowledge and expertise by communicating with customers, partners, and senior colleagues.
  • Leverage Partner Ecosystem - Builds awareness of partner technical capacity through observation and engages in partner sell-with scenarios to facilitate technical engagements and manage the sales process.
  • Scale Customer Engagements - Develops understanding of current customer context, acts as a trusted advisor on security needs, engages resources to overcome blockers, and drives technical wins with peers’ support.
  • Solution Design and Proof - Contributes to demonstrations and POC sessions, builds awareness of digital transformation sales methodologies, and presents reference architectures to partners or customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field AND a minimum 2 years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, technology delivery, or related experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field AND 2 to 5 years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, solution delivery, or related technology role.
