About the role

Senior technology consultant engaging with Japan’s leading retail/distribution companies to shape and enable transformation using AI and agent technologies, influence industry strategy, and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic technology advisor engaging CxO and technology leaders of major clients to lead medium- to long-term technology vision
  • Drive business transformation using Azure AI, Copilot, and agent frameworks from use-case discovery to implementation support
  • Develop and execute Retail Industry strategies; design and promote Microsoft market approach based on deep industry insights and stakeholder collaboration
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams (engineers, partners, marketing) to maximize value delivered to customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of technology consulting, solution sales, business consulting, digital transformation, or related experience
  • Experience engaging with senior business and technology executives
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, data platforms, AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
  • Native-level Japanese and business-level English for internal communication
