About the role

Senior leadership role to design, scale, and manage a consolidated commercial contracting and legal operations function across Match Group brands, leveraging AI and automation to accelerate contracting, optimize lifecycle management, and partner with Legal AI Enablement.

Responsibilities

  • Own commercial contracting globally. Set the strategy for how Match Group drafts, negotiates, and manages procurement, vendor, and SaaS/technology agreements, balancing legal risk with business needs.
  • Oversee the Legal Operations function. Guide an experienced Legal Operations team responsible for contract lifecycle management, billing, and legal-tech tooling strategy and execution, including AI-centric initiatives.
  • Reimagine commercial contracting with AI in the loop. Identify where AI can accelerate and automate stages of review, drafting, negotiation support, and risk triage, and champion adoption across the team.
  • Support central functions. Extend commercial contracting support to central teams including procurement, workplace experience, finance, real estate, and operations.
  • Build scalable processes. Develop playbooks, templates, and governance to improve speed, consistency, and clarity of contracting across brands, leveraging AI to scale.
  • Manage risk and escalation. Identify and escalate legal and business risk in vendor and procurement relationships and determine when broader alignment is needed.
  • Partner across the business. Serve as a senior point of contact for procurement, finance, and vendor management, building relationships with stakeholders across Match Group.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial contracting, procurement, or vendor management with significant negotiation and people-management experience.
  • Substantial experience leading a Legal Operations function, ideally for a global Legal Team, with knowledge of Legal Ops practices and AI/automation opportunities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills; experience mentoring attorneys and building high-performing teams.
  • Strategic, solutions-oriented thinker with clear risk assessment and business context; intellectually curious and driven to win for business and team.
  • In-house experience at a technology company in fast-paced, multi-brand environments; comfort working across a complex global organization.
  • Deep experience negotiating and structuring SaaS, technology licensing, procurement, and vendor agreements at scale.
  • AI-forward mindset; active use of AI tools in work today and enthusiasm for AI-enabled contracting processes.
  • Track record of building or scaling a function with templates, playbooks, and processes in a dynamic environment.
  • Business judgment and executive presence; ability to collaborate with procurement, finance, real estate, and workplace teams.
  • J.D. from an accredited institution and an active law license (in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction).
  • Comfort with autonomy in a newly consolidated function.
