About the role
Santé is the #1 operating system for local retailers, offering an all-in-one platform (POS, payments, eCommerce, inventory, marketing, AI agents) for liquor stores and other local retailers. This role is Santé’s first product design hire, focused on creating intuitive desktop and mobile interfaces and building design guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Listen to customers and internalize their root problem, figuring out what they’re actually trying to do
- Design intuitive, simple, and delightful interfaces that solve the root problems
- Explore new ways customers will work alongside AI agents
- Prototype desktop and mobile designs with Claude/Codex and Figma
- Collaborate directly with engineering to determine scope for all user-facing work
- Build our design guidelines
- Define a cohesive visual identity across our product as well as GTM assets
Qualifications
- Humble
- Very high bar
- Obsessive about your craft
- Have experience designing and building your own ideas
- Can prototype with Codex, Claude Code, Conductor, etc. and Figma
