About the role
Join a small, growing Business Development Representative (BDR) team supporting Account Executives (AEs) who work with small and midsize businesses across the United States to create new business opportunities, qualify potential customers, and build skills for a GTM sales career in 1Password’s security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Execute outbound prospecting through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Use artificial intelligence (AI)-driven sales tools and modern prospecting platforms to work efficiently and engage prospects thoughtfully.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria and build a sustainable pipeline.
- Schedule qualified meetings and provide focused day-to-day support to Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect activity and follow-up in the CRM.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows when relevant.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing partners while participating in ongoing coaching, training, and enablement.
Qualifications
- Clear and professional communication in phone, email, and written conversations.
- Demonstrated prospecting and cold-calling skills with ability to engage new contacts respectfully.
- Resilience, organization, and consistency in a high-volume outbound environment.
- Respond openly to coaching and apply feedback to improve performance.
- Manage multiple prospect interactions while maintaining accurate and organized records.
