About the role

Solutions Architect responsible for technical pre-sales and solution design for complex payments integrations with enterprise partners, focusing on turning business requirements into scalable architectures and guiding cross-functional teams from pre-sales to go-live.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal teams on high-value implementations and expansions, shaping integration approaches, system configuration, and overall solution design.
  • Partner with implementation and account management teams to translate customer requirements into scalable architectures.
  • Work with sales teams on technical discovery to understand customer systems, data flows, and workflows, and recommend a best-fit integration blueprint, including APIs and third-party connectors.
  • Work hands-on with customers to troubleshoot integration hurdles and guide them through complex configuration decisions, focusing on robust, maintainable implementations rather than writing code directly.
  • Create and maintain internal documentation, playbooks, and lightweight tooling to support integration-heavy use cases at scale.
  • Channel customer pain points and integration feedback into Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and feature prioritisation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales
  • 10+ years of client-facing delivery or professional services experience in a high-paced environment
  • Proven track record delivering cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders including C-level executives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
