About the role

Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) specializing in Security for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Platforms in Canada, focused on security transformation for customers within CE&S. Customer-facing role owning technical relationship, delivering end-to-end security solutions, and driving customer success through architecture, implementation, and operational health engagements. Flexible to work up to 50% from home; on-site work in Canada locations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive positive Customer Satisfaction and act as trusted advisor; provide feedback from customers/partners; be the Voice of Customer to share insights and influence solution roadmap with Global Security teams, Engineering and Product teams.
  • Land an end-to-end value proposition for Security (Zero Trust) spanning Microsoft Security offerings, with focus on Purview/Data Security, Threat Protection, Identity + Access Management and Cloud Security.
  • Position and deliver solutions that drive Security product usage; develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results; help Customers get value from Microsoft investments; identify resolutions to blockers using SA SME.
  • Accelerate security adoption by ensuring Secure by Design posture, high performance, scalability, maintainability, reusability and reliability upon deployment.
  • Align skilling to team/area demands and Customer Success goals; accelerate customer outcomes; contribute to IP creation and reuse to accelerate outcomes.
  • Run Architectural Design Sessions to build a plan for implementing the solution aligned with customer goals and technical environment; achieve consensus on design and next steps toward production.
  • Collaborate and orchestrate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders (FastTrack, partner, Microsoft Consulting) to develop complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions within the Microsoft Security platform.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
