About the role

Software Engineer II on the Purview Infrastructure Engineering (PINE) team focusing on scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency of Purview services across cloud environments. Builds automation, enhances deployment/validation capabilities, investigates issues, and collaborates across teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated pipelines to reduce manual steps and improve deployment speed.
  • Optimize cost and efficiency through telemetry, dashboards, and targeted improvements.
  • Enhance architecture and reliability by refactoring components and applying best practices.
  • Collaborate across teams to align dependencies and co-deliver features with shared ownership.
  • Drive cross-cloud parity and compliance by integrating Purview capabilities and audit readiness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
