About the role

Managerial role leading solution architecture delivery within Microsoft ISD, focusing on guiding architecture design, governance, customer/partner engagement, and strategic delivery across multiple accounts and markets. On-site position based in India (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Noida).

Responsibilities

  • People Management: empower and develop teams, model, coach, and care for team members and growth.
  • Understanding Customer/Partner Technical Environment: gather and propagate customer/partner insights, map architecture to business outcomes, socialize solutions with stakeholders, influence product roadmaps, and drive internal collaboration.
  • Architecture Design and Deployment: leverage existing architecture approaches, document architecture artifacts, communicate value proposition and ROI, coach for scalable solutions, collaborate on governance of POCs/pilots, oversee requirements and test plans, ensure pricing and cost discussions, and align with pre-sales/delivery.
  • Practice Development: generate/improve intellectual property, drive reuse, contribute to communities.
  • Trusted Advisor: build relationships with senior decision makers, stay updated on Microsoft technologies, mentor others, and influence strategic partnerships.
  • Coaches team to use evidence-based arguments, resolve escalations, and maintain delivery quality.
  • Thought Leadership: promote external architect community engagement, share learnings, mentor, and publish knowledge.
  • Other: embody culture and values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field AND 12+ years' experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, information technology, engineering, or related field AND 10+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years technical sales experience.
  • 8+ years project management experience.
  • 4+ years managing multiple, complex projects or portfolios.
  • 2+ years experience leading blended, multidisciplinary teams.
  • 5+ years people management experience (e.g., managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers).
  • Technical or Professional Certification in Domain (e.g., Security).
