About the role

ABAP AI Developer responsible for building the AI layer atop ABAP, spanning the full stack from ABAP development to AI agents, backend/frontend, infrastructure, and product direction within enterprise SAP environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop connector in ABAP and AI agents that perform ABAP development tasks
  • Develop AI harnesses and agents to operate on SAP/ABAP environments
  • Contribute to product direction and implementation
  • Speak with customers to shape requirements and ship enterprise-grade software
  • Work across backend, frontend, and infrastructure beyond ABAP to support AI-enhanced workflows

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on ABAP and SAP development experience (technical consultant, ABAP developer, solutions architect, or similar)
  • Understanding of SAP system structures: data models, BAPIs, IDocs, function modules, enhancement frameworks
  • Experience with large SAP implementations and migrations
  • Willingness to work beyond ABAP (AI agents, backend/frontend, infrastructure)
  • Strong pragmatic engineering instincts and production-grade code mindset
