About the role

Senior Product Marketing Manager responsible for shaping the narrative, positioning, and market-entry strategy for Apono as part of 1Password, focusing on Agentic Identity Security and AI agents in enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Define the narrative and market-entry strategy for Apono’s next chapter as part of 1Password.
  • Evaluate existing positioning and messaging, preserve what remains valuable, and evolve what no longer reflects the product or market.
  • Build deep understanding of customers, personas, use cases, market dynamics, and the challenges organizations face as AI agents interact with enterprise infrastructure.
  • Own messaging, product marketing strategy, launch planning, sales enablement, and the content direction that supports them.
  • Partner closely with senior product, engineering, marketing, sales, and go-to-market leaders to connect strategy across the business.
  • Bring ideas from strategy through execution, using customer and market feedback to refine the story and priorities.
  • Help shape the capabilities and resources the product marketing function needs as the business grows.

Qualifications

  • Experience in cybersecurity, deep technology, or B2B software with understanding of technical buyers and complex markets.
  • Strong product marketing background (launches, market-entry strategy, positioning, messaging, or narrative development).
  • Strategic thinker with execution focus, able to turn opportunities into clear plans and outcomes.
  • Proactive, able to own initiatives and build alignment across teams.
  • Clear and confident communication with executives, product, engineering, sales, and marketing audiences.
  • Ability to use AI tools and agents to improve research, planning, messaging, and workflow while maintaining human judgment.
  • Preferred: experience shaping an emerging category or working in a high-growth or changing organization.
