About the role

Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) specializing in Security, focused on Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms, to support Canadian business. Customer-facing role owning the technical relationship, delivering end-to-end security solutions, architecture, implementation, and operational health engagements. Flexible to work up to 50% from home; on-site in Canada, Ontario, Toronto.

Responsibilities

  • Drive positive Customer Satisfaction and act as trusted advisor; capture Voice of Customer and connect with Global Security teams, Engineering and Product to remove blockers and influence roadmap.
  • Land an end-to-end value proposition for Security (Zero Trust) spanning Microsoft Security offerings, focusing on Threat Protection, Identity + Access Management, and Cloud Security.
  • Position and deliver solutions to drive Security product usage; develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results; identify resolutions to blockers using SA subject matter expertise; deliver according to MS best practices and repeatable IP.
  • Accelerate Business Value of overall Security adoption by improving security posture and ensuring a 'Secure by Design' framework (performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, reliability).
  • Align skilling to team/area demands and Customer Success goals; contribute to IP creation and reuse to accelerate outcomes.
  • Run Architectural Design Sessions to plan solution implementation; achieve consensus on design and next steps toward production.
  • Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders (FastTrack, partners, Microsoft Consulting) to develop complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Security platform.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 7+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
