About the role

Cloud Engineering Consultant focusing on modernizing infrastructure and accelerating cloud adoption in Microsoft Azure, including migration from on-premises, IaC with BICEP, AKS, AVD, Azure Monitor, and related security and identity services; on-site in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ability to articulate value propositions for Microsoft products and services and define customer/partner requirements and constraints.
  • Demonstrate expertise in a specific solution or multiple products and drive opportunities to accelerate the adoption of Microsoft Cloud.
  • Drive and support innovation focusing on industry solutions and customer business outcomes on the Microsoft platform.
  • Ensure solutions align with architectural intent, enabling test specifications and operations guides for the customer.
  • Identify business and technical risks, assess impact, and propose mitigations and contingencies.
  • Provide stakeholder assistance throughout deployment to avoid/resolve technical issues.
  • Balance Configure-Before-Customize principles with delivering maximum customer value using Microsoft core assets and develop project plans across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field AND 3+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business OR equivalent experience.
