About the role

Senior Software Engineer on the Conduit team responsible for architecting and delivering a secure, cross-platform desktop application and unified CLI to access Delinea platform capabilities, using React Native and TypeScript, with involvement across the application stack, CI/CD, testing, and mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Architect the design and help develop, test, and maintain a secure, reliable cross-platform desktop application, ensuring alignment with Delinea’s security and architecture standards.
  • Develop and evolve the Delinea CLI, creating a unified entry point for interacting with capabilities across the Delinea platform.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices for reliable releases across macOS and Windows.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers, designers, and other teams to define technical roadmaps and deliver capabilities spanning multiple systems.
  • Conduct code and design reviews, emphasizing performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Provide technical mentorship to engineering peers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software engineering and building complex client applications.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern application development frameworks such as React or React Native.
  • Experience designing and integrating applications with APIs and distributed backend services.
  • Experience developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining complex applications across multiple system boundaries.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, secure development practices, and client/server communication.
  • Experience collaborating across engineering, product, and design to deliver complex software projects.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous technical problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and learn new technologies as needed.
