About the role

Full-Stack Engineer with a backend-leaning focus for the Music team at ElevenLabs. You’ll work with research and research engineering to bring model improvements into production, build and run APIs, and collaborate with go-to-market and enterprise customers. Remote-first role with European or US East Coast alignment; occasional customer interaction and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Join as a Full-Stack Engineer with a backend lean.
  • Work with research and research engineering to bring model improvements into production, and build and run the APIs behind them.
  • Sync with go-to-market to decide which features, including bespoke enterprise ones, get built next.
  • Occasionally join customer calls when a customer wants someone technical.
  • Act as PMs: break down ambiguous goals, handle legal questions, choose engineering approach, plan launches with growth.
  • Design systems that allow easier swapping of models as improvements are developed.
  • Engineering is often only half the job.

Qualifications

  • A strong Full-Stack Engineer with a backend lean. You’ve built and shipped production APIs and backend systems.
  • A product decomposition mindset. You’ve taken a vague goal, weighed trade-offs and shipped without analysis paralysis.
  • Proactive ownership. You drive work end to end without a ticket board or someone assigning tasks.
  • Comfortable working across research, legal, safety, growth, design and enterprise customers.
  • Genuinely excited about music and AI. You prototype ideas for fun and push the good ones into production.
