About the role

Productions is the “done for you” managed services wing of ElevenLabs, delivering human-edited dubs, audiobooks and more in 15+ languages by combining AI audio tools with human expertise. Engineers will build systems that let human expertise and AI work together, and develop labelling/tools used by research teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own a scope in one of the following areas:
  • - Human data platform: labs and evaluation platform to improve models, ship new task editors, improve reliability, catch misuse, build metrics for high-quality data pipelines.
  • - Core productions engine: backend services running production workflows, build and maintain services, lead projects.
  • - Editor platform: professional editing tools, build in Rust, integrate UI with underlying system.

Qualifications

  • Strong backend engineering experience, ideally in functional programming languages like Rust, with a full-stack focus on designing UI systems.
  • Experience making systems reliable and scalable (internal platforms, workflow/task engines, data pipelines).
  • Comfortable switching between building new tools/editors and hardening the underlying platform; willing to lead projects.
  • Opinionated and able to defend ideas, yet willing to grind and do unglamorous work; hungry.
