About the role

ElevenMusic is a consumer music app within ElevenLabs where music is the core product. The role involves end-to-end ownership of features, working with AI capabilities to build and ship products to a large user base, and collaborating with research engineering to turn model capabilities into user-facing experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own features end to end, from spotting the problem to shipping the product and the backend behind it
  • Define problems, test ideas with real users, and work with research engineering to turn model capabilities into user-loved features
  • Ship things that go live to a large audience within days
  • Understand every layer of the system, spot issues in PRs, and ensure security and simplicity
  • Work autonomously with minimal direction and take responsibility for solving problems as you find them
  • Have a real interest in music or in the people who make it

Qualifications

  • Have shipped and owned a well-designed consumer product from zero to real users, across frontend and backend
  • Understand systems deeply enough to spot when a PR is wrong, insecure, or needlessly complex
  • Show excellent product judgement: identify the most valuable things to build and what not to build
  • Work autonomously with minimal direction and take responsibility for fixing problems
  • Have a real interest in music, or in the people who make it
