About the role
Director of Product, AI Growth leads 1Password's new AI-driven business by defining growth strategies, customer programs, and partnerships to scale AI opportunities within the go-to-market, product, and partner ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Own the growth thesis for 1Password's AI opportunities, covering the customer segments we target, the outcomes we deliver that we win on, and the workflows we get embedded into; revise as evidence arrives from customers, partners, and the market.
- Form and test hypotheses using customer feedback, product usage data, partner input, and market research with GTM, product, UX, and product marketing teams.
- Lead a weekly business review that integrates customer voice, field feedback, and product telemetry to refine targets, forecast roadmaps, and prioritize blockers to adoption.
- Identify what stops customers from adopting and drive blockers to resolution with the product team.
- Run the design customer program for new AI opportunities from selecting customers through delivered outcomes.
- Act as general contractor for each design customer, ensuring deployment of 1Password for agentic access and delivering security/convenience outcomes.
- Coordinate all involved teams for deployments and build what is required with a forward deployed engineering team.
- Bring in Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Managers to help customers reach goals and run feature betas.
- Turn program proof into repeatable signals for scaling (customer evidence, deployment pattern, outcomes) to support GTM and channel sales plays.
- Improve the program to reach more design customers, raise delivery success, and shorten commercialization time.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of product management experience, including experience carrying a revenue or adoption target, with preference for security products, agentic products, or developer tools.
- Experience owning strategy for a new product area or market entry from hypothesis to production deployment.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers on technical deployments and turning deployments into repeatable sales motions.
- Experience building technology partnerships and integrations, including positioning within a larger ecosystem and working with BD on commercial terms.
- Technical depth to converse with developers and security architects about AI agents, deployment, and access to systems.
- Ability to align go-to-market and engineering teams toward a shared goal without direct authority.
- Ability to make decisions and move work forward with incomplete information in a fast-changing market.
- Takes ownership end-to-end, including cross-team work.
- Works AI-first: uses agents in daily work and applies judgement to decisions, product taste, and stakeholder relationships.
