About the role
Datacenter Security Operations Manager within CO+I Physical Security responsible for physical security operations at datacenters and related facilities, collaborating with vendor security staff, assessing risks, and communicating findings to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of physical security policies and procedures at applicable datacenters, ensuring vendor guard resources meet Microsoft and customer requirements to protect people, information, and critical infrastructure.
- With minimal assistance, analyze security threats, alerts, or risks and escalate to incident response or authorities as needed; implement security protocols to protect personnel and assets; deliver and maintain security programs.
- Partner with datacenter operations, security systems and other stakeholders to ensure secure, continuous operations within a One Team, One Microsoft environment.
- Continuously improve the efficiency and maturity of the physical security program, optimize resources (budget management and forecasting), and scale, automate, and simplify processes where possible.
- Receive escalations/notifications of physical security and business-impacting events, triage, and keep regional leadership informed; on-call 24x7x365 with periodic travel.
- Support risk identification for datacenter insecurity and security disruption to aid decision-makers in mitigating risks and responding to residual risks; summarize risk analysis for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 4+ years' experience in Security Program or Program Management or related field
