About the role

Start Date: February 2027. Type: Full-Time Internship, Duration 6 months. Build community, explore passions, and work on real-world projects with Microsoft interns. Develop and execute account plans to drive high-volume sales, understand customer digital transformation drivers, and engage internal teams to accelerate customer strategy.

Responsibilities

  • You seek feedback from customers to understand the drivers of satisfaction and establish action plans to improve their overall experience.
  • Develops an understanding of the customer's business and technology needs for top priorities for assigned accounts. If industry aligned, also learns about the customer's industry.
  • You orchestrate extended virtual teams and key stakeholders to engage decision makers of assigned accounts. You share and recommend Microsoft solutions to customers, and develop value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for customers that drive business outcomes to generate business and upsells.
  • You develop strategies to secure buy-in and execution of plans and aim to identify new opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • You take ownership of smaller projects and collaborate with Account Teams to drive sales, support forecast planning and deal execution, and contribute to business development activities around major industry events.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have at least one semester/term remaining following the completion of the employment.
  • You must be legally authorised to work in Germany to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit.)
  • Fluency in English.
  • Fluency in German.
