About the role

Build software that helps the world’s warehouses make smarter decisions. On the Distribution team, we build the systems behind warehouse execution, inventory optimization, and AI-powered supply chain operations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. Based at the Microsoft Development Center near Copenhagen, the role covers distributed systems, optimization, inventory management, and reliability at enterprise scale, with opportunities to grow in a collaborative hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate high-throughput, multi-tenant distributed services.
  • Own technical designs, lead architecture discussions, and coach engineers through design and code reviews.
  • Deliver clean, modular, maintainable code with comprehensive tests, robust error handling, and security and privacy built in.
  • Use AI tools responsibly across design, coding, testing, and operations, taking ownership of the quality and security of AI-generated work.
  • Drive service reliability, performance, and efficiency through automation, safe deployments, telemetry, monitoring, and on-call incident response.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and partner teams across geographies to translate customer needs into cohesive, end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python - OR equivalent experience.
