About the role

Microsoft SCHIE in Silicon Manufacturing and Product Engineering (SMPE) seeks a Test/Software/Developer Engineer to build full-stack applications, data platforms, analytics capabilities, and AI-powered tools to improve production execution, engineering productivity, quality, reliability, and production material operations within Azure cloud and semiconductor manufacturing contexts.

Responsibilities

  • Silicon Test Engineering Automation: translate silicon test and manufacturing requirements into scalable software, data, analytics, and automation solutions; support test data processing, test performance and yield analysis, traceability, debugging, production monitoring, and test efficiency improvement.
  • Microsoft Fabric & Azure Data Platform Engineering: design, develop, and manage scalable data and analytics solutions; build data pipelines, lakehouses, data warehouses, real-time analytics, data integration; ensure security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Security & Secure Engineering: embed security-by-design; apply secure coding practices; enforce identity and access controls, data protection, vulnerability remediation, dependency management, security monitoring.
  • GenAI & Agentic Workflow Development: develop Generative AI and agentic workflow solutions to enable predictive insights, process automation, and smarter decision-making; create AI-powered assistants and workflow automation; ensure Responsible AI and enterprise security.
  • Full-Stack Software Development: design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable web applications; develop APIs and backend services; code reviews, testing, debugging, production support, and performance improvements.
