About the role

Senior Product Manager with a finance background to help build Excel and Copilot for finance, working with customers and teams across Excel, Office, and Microsoft to improve usefulness, reliability, and enable smarter decision-making. On-site in Redmond, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Build reliable finance products: collaborate with a small product team, prototype with customers in real finance workflows, identify patterns for reuse, and partner with engineering, design, and product teams to turn patterns into reusable capabilities.
  • Review AI-generated spreadsheets and artifacts for financial correctness, usability, and sound assumptions; develop reference examples, test cases, scoring criteria, and reusable AI workflows with realistic data, exceptions, and financial controls.
  • Own finance-specific quality criteria and align with customers and product teams; ensure automated tests align with expert review and define evidence and human checks for finance readiness before customer validation.
  • Use customer feedback and test results to define clear product requirements and improve product quality; measure progress against baselines (accuracy, review effort, time saved).
  • Tell credible customer stories: own finance scenarios and accuracy of demos and customer stories; partner with Product and Marketing to demonstrate customer outcomes with measured results.
  • Build finance expertise across the team: create a practical Finance learning path and foster a network of practicing finance experts to validate workflows and provide prototype feedback.
  • Embody culture and values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development (or equivalent experience)
