About the role

Senior Account Executive at Microsoft leads enterprise customers through digital transformation with a focus on Cloud & AI, Copilot, Business Process, and Security to achieve Microsoft and customer business outcomes, primarily within Malaysia FSI (public/private banks and fintech).

Responsibilities

  • Customer Outcomes Manager: Understands customer drivers and business outcomes of digital transformation; initiates conversations on digital transformation; captures line-of-business wins for referencing.
  • Sales Leadership Pivoting to Industry: Develops understanding of the customer’s industry and needs; identifies opportunities to drive optimizations and new digitalization solutions; represents the customer.
  • Executes on Account Plan & Goals: Manages and executes plans for multiple accounts to meet Microsoft targets and customer needs; coordinates with extended virtual teams; outlines revenue targets; orchestrates extended team and partners; ensures sales consumption and adoption goals.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of selling to or consulting with enterprise customers in Malaysia, with expertise selling into Private/Public Sector Banks and Fintech; or 5+ years driving digital transformation within enterprise customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading multi-cultural, remote teams across disciplines.
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs and deliver customized pitches and solutions.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexities in client management.
  • Customer-first mindset; long-term value over short-term gains.
  • Solid knowledge of Banking/Financial Services/Fintech industry.
