About the role

Researcher role focused on advancing LLMs, Agentic AI, AI-native innovations, RL, model tuning, and agentic software engineering; aims to build intelligent systems that reason, act, and evolve, and to publish and contribute state-of-the-art technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct innovative research in Agentic AI, LLMs, Agentic Software Engineering, RL, RSI, model tuning, LLM Privacy, or Efficient AI.
  • Design and prototype agentic systems that autonomously perform tasks, make decisions, and interact with users and other agents.
  • Develop scalable algorithms for agentic systems, memory-augmented reasoning, or efficient learning.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate research into key Microsoft products.
  • Publish in top-tier venues (e.g., NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, KDD, ICSE, FSE, OSDI, etc.) and contribute SOTA technologies to academia/industry community.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in relevant field AND 3+ years related research experience
  • OR Master's Degree in relevant field AND 4+ years related research experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field AND 6+ years related research experience
  • OR equivalent experience.
