About the role

People Partner to support Go-To-Market and Sales teams, partnering with GTM leaders to align talent initiatives with business goals, drive talent programs, and scale solutions across Samsara.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Strategic Thought Partner: Establish yourself as an indispensable, embedded partner to sales and GTM leaders by aligning talent priorities directly with business outcomes.
  • Drive Creative Problem-Solving: Diagnose team, manager, and organizational needs and recommend business-aligned solutions.
  • Execute Core Talent Programs: Drive talent management, compensation/reward programs, and retention strategies designed to lower attrition in high-volume GTM environments.
  • Collaborate Across the People Function: Partner with Regional People Partners, Program Managers, and COEs to deliver strategic people solutions.
  • Champion Samsara's Culture: Model and embed cultural principles at scale.
  • Connect in Person: Travel roughly once per quarter for leadership offsites and key meetings.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in People Operations.
  • Experience partnering with go-to-market teams (sales, CS or similar), or broader People experience (programs, talent, etc.).
  • Learning oriented, with experience using AI tools to improve how you work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment with evolving focus.
  • Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with ability to plan and deliver projects end-to-end.
  • Experience using data to identify insights and inform business decisions.
  • Effective communication, consulting, coaching and facilitation skills.
