Senior Mobile Engineer role focused on Android and frontend infrastructure, leading large-scale projects for the Forage EBT Shopper app, improving frontend tooling, and shaping technical direction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large multi-engineer projects for the Forage EBT Shopper app.
  • Balance business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability in trade offs when balancing new feature requests and necessary engineering improvements
  • Influence frontend development at Forage by sharing technical vision and providing guidance
  • Make teammates at Forage more effective through better frontend infrastructure and tooling
  • Mentor teammates and others around frontend best practices

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of mobile engineering experience building end-to-end user solutions
  • Experience in Kotlin Multiplatform, especially having built an app from scratch
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives within your team, mentoring engineers through design and delivery, contributing meaningfully to roadmap discussions, and independently driving complex projects from design through execution
