About the role

Developer Advocate focusing on improving ElevenLabs' developer experience, especially documentation and example projects, and driving acquisition of self-serve technical customers through compelling content and in-person engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Improve developer experience and documentation
  • Ship tools and examples to reduce user friction
  • Identify where users are getting stuck and address needs
  • Create and present engaging content online and in-person (meetups, conferences)
  • Produce tutorials, working demos, blog posts, videos, and talks
  • Tailor messaging for different audiences and build developer networks
  • Adopt a product-minded approach to content based on metrics and user needs

Qualifications

  • Strong full-stack engineering skillset with extensive experience working with AI tools
  • Experience attending, organizing, and speaking at developer events
  • Ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and build networks with developers, accelerators, and VCs
  • Proven ability to create high-quality technical content (tutorials, demos, blogs, videos, talks)
  • Passion for writing engaging technical content
  • Product-minded thinking: understand metrics, user needs, and prioritize what to build/write based on impact
