About the role

Senior Finance Manager responsible for the financial rhythm of Gaming Ads, partnering with Gaming and Advertising leaders to shape strategy, forecast, plan, analyze performance, and drive responsible growth across Xbox, King, Microsoft Casual Gaming, and Microsoft Advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial business rhythm for Gaming Ads, including forecasting, month-end close, planning, quota support, and performance analytics, ensuring leaders have a clear, trusted view of performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Determine operating revenue and expenses for Gaming Ads and conduct variance analyses, identifying underlying business drivers and recommended actions to optimize resource allocation across stakeholders.
  • Perform analysis, modeling, and research of current and future financial performance to support strategic decision making and responsible growth.
  • Develop and evolve scalable financial models, reporting frameworks, and performance measurement approaches that connect strategic priorities, investments, and product roadmaps to measurable outcomes.
  • Build and leverage strong relationships with business partners across product, engineering, sales, and finance to drive accountability and influence leaders through data-driven storytelling.
  • Mentor team members in Gaming Ads finance and engage regularly with senior stakeholders up to General Manager.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
