About the role

Finance Manager role within the SANE (Search, Ads, News + Edge) team to model, analyze, and communicate financial performance for Bing Distribution and related Consumer Advertising products; partner with executives and stakeholders to drive financial planning, analysis, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the analysis of present and future financial performance of the Bing Distribution product, including budget, forecast, weekly outlook, and month-end results; supports annual business planning and forecasting for overall SANE Finance; analyzes performance by Bing Distribution Partners by rate and volume.
  • Provides support during monthly financial close, reviewing Gross Revenue and TAC by partner, ensuring accuracy and explaining trends to leaders; collaborates with accounting and payables on TAC accruals.
  • Builds and evaluates deal models for new Bing Distribution partners on revenue, costs, profitability and margins; monitors partner profitability monthly.
  • Serves as finance contact for partners on revenue, costs and compliance questions; contributes to financial plans, variance analysis, investments, KPIs, and margin accountability; engages with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Learns and applies Microsoft Finance foundations and business monetization concepts to collect information, perform analysis and complete standardized reporting.
  • Improves data collection, automation of financial reporting, forecasting tools, and develops standard and ad-hoc reports; explores use of AI in Finance.
  • Communicates recurring and ad-hoc results clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
