About the role

Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) specializing in Security, focused on driving security transformation for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms in Canada. Customer-facing role owning the technical relationship, guiding architecture, implementation, and operational health engagements. Flexible to work up to 50% from home; on-site in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Drive positive Customer Satisfaction and act as trusted advisor; provide feedback from customers/partners; be Voice of Customer to share insights and influence solution roadmap with Global Security teams, Engineering and Product teams.
  • Land an end-to-end value proposition for Security (Zero Trust) across Microsoft Security offerings, focusing on Purview/Data Security, Threat Protection, Identity and Access Management, and Cloud Security.
  • Position and deliver solutions that drive Security product usage; develop opportunities to drive Customer Success outcomes; help customers get value from Microsoft investments; identify resolutions to blockers using SA SME.
  • Accelerate Business Value of Security adoption by improving security posture and ensuring a Secure by Design framework (performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, reliability).
  • Align personal skilling to team and Customer Success goals; contribute to IP creation and reuse to accelerate outcomes.
  • Lead Architectural Design Sessions to plan implementation aligned with customer goals and tech environment; achieve consensus on solution design and next steps toward production.
  • Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders (FastTrack, partners, Microsoft Consulting) to develop complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Security platform.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 2+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting OR equivalent experience.
