About the role

Define and own the multi-year strategy and cross-organizational execution for information-worker and maker authoring tools and lifecycle management for Agents used by Autopilots and Workflows, spanning authoring, publishing, evaluation, observability, governance, and operations across Microsoft 365 Copilot and partner surfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evangelize the long-term vision, strategy, investment framework, and roadmap for agent, autopilot, and workflow authoring and lifecycle experiences across divisional boundaries.
  • Synthesize customer research, telemetry, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and AI-assisted insights to identify unmet needs, validate product-market fit, prioritize opportunities, and guide resource tradeoffs.
  • Create a coherent progression across information-worker, maker, and developer entry points so solutions can move from lightweight creation to trusted, governed, enterprise-scale deployment without fragmentation or rework.
  • Drive shared lifecycle capabilities across Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agent Builder, Power Automate, and partner surfaces. This includes specification, validation, publishing, distribution, evaluation, observability, versioning, governance, operations, and supportability.
  • Partner with teams across Microsoft to define platform contracts, integration patterns, ownership boundaries, dependencies, release criteria, and shared success measures.
  • Lead difficult product and architecture decisions with senior stakeholders, balancing customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, quality, security, privacy, responsible AI, compliance, reliability, cost, and time to market.
  • Define OKRs, AI quality measures, experimentation and learning loops; use evidence to improve adoption, engagement, retention, reliability, and business outcomes, and to change course or deprecate capabilities when warranted.

Qualifications
