About the role

Senior Sourcing Engineer responsible for end-to-end sourcing strategies across Global Fulfillment & Logistics, focusing on supplier leadership, category strategy, and cross-functional collaboration within Microsoft Devices Operations (MDO).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute differentiated sourcing strategies for assigned products, using leading Fulfillment & Logistics (F&L) service providers to deliver competitive cost, quality, innovation, supply continuity performance.
  • Own business performance for assigned product categories across the full lifecycle, leading supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contracting, relationship management, performance improvement, and capability development in partnership with Product Development and Devices Operations.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 3+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles.
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 4+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles.
  • OR equivalent experience.
